The digital universal control unit aims at providing a training to gain knowledge about digital controlled microcontrollers. Operation is easy through a simplified menu items as well as variables and curves can be displayed on the screen and can be zoomed in or out.

A tacho-generator is a direct current generator for measuring the rotational speed of a shaft. It converting mechanical signal into an electric signal, hence a voltage per unit rotational speed.

They permit dynamic data exchange (DDE) with auxiliary programs (e.g. Fourier analysis or PowerView) and the export of graphs and measurement values as files or using the clipboard function for further processing in standard word processing or spreadsheet programs, as well as hardcopy print outs on all Windows-supported printers. Operation is also supported by context-sensitive online help.
