Split air conditioning operation and malfunction trainer features a real air conditioner equipped with several modules with a main purpose of practicing on the electrical and mechanical connections of the conditioning system. The trainer is also used for training on the refrigeration piping and testing leakage and pressure

                                     
  • The trainer is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of construction and operation of electrical and mechanical connection of air conditioning
  • The trainer provides understanding the refrigeration cycle and how to control the flow of the refrigerant
  • The trainer provides leakage testing and measurement for the low and high pressure.
  • The trainer consists of a sturdy frame that holds an indoor unit and an outdoor unit of a split air conditioning system, in addition to experimental modules of split air conditioning electrical and mechanical components.
  • The experimental modules are indoor unit module, outdoor unit module, Freon charging connections, condensate pump module, level switch module, over load switch module, and remote control.
  • The trainer allows trainees to connect the outdoor unit and indoor unit mechanically and electrically in order to gain hands-on skills of electrical and mechanical connections related to air conditioning systems
  • The indoor unit consists of an evaporator, a fan and a filter of the air purification inside the chamber. This unit is also called the evaporating unit.
  • The outdoor unit consists of a condenser, a compressor, a fan, a heat pump reversing valve and also an expansion valve. This unit is also called the condensing unit
  • The condensate pump is a type of centrifugal pump that is used to collect and disperse the water produced by condensation which provide safety to the trainer
  • The level switch is provided to sense the level of the water and send signal to activate the condensate pump
  • The heat pump reversing valve is to change the direction of refrigerant flow. By reversing the flow of refrigerant, the heat pump refrigeration cycle is changed from cooling to heating or vice versa.
  • The unit is supplied with an overload switch as well as a trainer on/off switch.
  • The trainer is supplied with set of accessories and tools that are required in the connections.
