The modular refrigeration training system (AR-024) allows trainees to design R134a refrigeration circuits and to perform basic and advanced experiments to theses circuits. The modular refrigeration components used for this trainer are all real components to introduce trainees to refrigeration components in markets to acquire different technical skills such as performing the needed connections, discharging the unit from water vapor, vacuuming the system, charging and discharging the system with freon.

  • The refrigeration training unit demonstrates the basic cycle used in refrigeration systems as well as different auxiliaries that can be added to the cycle to make it more controllable and increase its overall refrigeration efficiency.
  • The trainer allows trainees to read, use, and perform calculations related to pressure-enthalpy diagrams for R134a Freon and be more familiar with the components of the cycle and the function of each one, as well as the tools used to perform the needed measurements in the cycle.
  • The training system consists of a sturdy frame with racks, a condensing unit, an evaporator unit, experimental modules and refrigeration tools and equipment.
  • The frame helps trainees to construct refrigeration circuits easily by inserting the experimental modules in the racks and connect them using refrigeration pipes and is used also as a workbench for technical practice.
  • The frame also includes the main power module that contains two rows of Line and Neutral terminals, emergency button, circuit breaker, trainer ON/OFF switch, power sockets, USB socket and P-H graph of R134a.
  • The condensing unit consists of a compressor, a condenser, a condenser fan and a liquid receiver.
  • The evaporator unit has a door to isolate the low temperature resulted by the evaporator coil inside the refrigerator and consists of an evaporator coil, room temperature thermostat and room temperature module.
  • The evaporator unit is supplied with inlets and outlets for constructing refrigeration circuits and charging and discharging the refrigerant.
  • The experimental modules are an evaporator pressure regulator module KVP 15, a thermal expansion valve module, solenoid valve module, capillary tubes modules, T-connection module, temperature monitoring module, filter tank with sight glass module, high/low pressure switches module, high pressure gauge module, low pressure gauge module, hot gas bypass regulator module KVC 15, compressor power control module room temperature thermostat and room temperature sensor module.
  • The trainer allows trainees to learn the sequence of refrigeration cycles creation and maintenance as they are performed in real life.
  • The educational unit allows trainees to gain these skills and much more by safe experimentation.
  • The condensing unit, the evaporator unit and experimental modules are all prepared by inlets and outlets to facilitate connecting hoses and create refrigeration cycles.
  • The whole trainer is completely safe for performing a wide range of refrigeration cycles.
  • The trainer is supplied with hoses and cables at the hose holder at the trainer side.
