Petrol Engine + Automatic Transmission Cutaway
(AT-002)

1.Sectioned petrol engine 2.Sectioned FWD automatic transmission 3.Electrical motor 4.Intake Manifold 5.Operation panel

  • Observation of the internal structure and components of petrol engine and FWD automatic transmission.
  • Demonstrating the sequence of events (intake, compression, power, and exhaust) during the four-strokes in each cylinder of the petrol engine.
  • Observing the simulation of fuel injection inside cylinders involving injectors, intake valve, fuel-injection nozzle, and exhaust valve in each cylinder.
  • Demonstrating the operation of the petrol engine and automatic transmission together and how the power is transmitted from the engine through the torque converter to the transmission.
  • Petrol engine + automatic transmission cutaway (AT - 002)
  • Hard copy user manual

The training unit featuring a real petrol engine and an FWD automatic transmission attached to each other by means of a torque converter exactly as the case in real cars. Both petrol engine and automatic transmission are sectioned and showcased for educational purposes. The trainer is designed to enable observing the internal structure and components of the engine and transmission to help understanding their operation and lay the foundation for learning the maintenance of both systems. Additionally, an electric motor is attached to the system setup to provide the motion required to study the engine and transmission interconnection and how the power is transmitted from the engine through the torque converter to the transmission system.

  • The educational unit featuring a sectioned four-cylinder petrol engine attached to a FWD automatic transmission both mounted on a robust frame.
  • The trainer allows the trainee to observe the injection order of the engine, the sequence of the 4 main strokes of the engine, how longitudinal motion is transformed into rotational motion by pistons, connecting rods and crankshaft.
  • The trainer allows the trainee to observe the operation of the valve train and the timing assembly, the construction of the engine block, cylinder head, crankcase, intake and exhaust systems, and the shape and profile of most petrol engine components.
  • The trainer is provided with an electric motor to generate the expected rotation coming from the engine, in addition to a cutaway of an automatic transmission.
  • The trainer is provided with a schematic diagram on the front panel showing the internal structure and components of the engine.
