Electronic injection diesel engine troubleshooting trainer features a diesel engine trainer modified to accommodate a touch screen computer unit. The electronic injection diesel engine troubleshooting trainer features a diesel engine and all systems necessary for its operation. The trainer tends to enhance the trainees troubleshooting skills in the field of diesel engines by simulating their common electric faults.

  • 4-cylinder diesel engine mounted on a robust frame with six wheels for ease of relocation.
  • Unit includes all components required for engine operation such as battery, electric circuitry, ECU common rail, ignition switch, accelerator position sensor, fuel reservoir, camshaft position sensor, crankshaft position sensor, fuel injection system, cooling system, complete exhaust system, starter motor and alternator.
  • Unit allows the trainee to vary engine RPM using a knop to simulate the effect of the acceleration pedal.
  • Unit designed in a manner to allow the trainee to observe all system components.
  • A large control panel includes operation switches, faults simulation switches, vehicle dash board and a port for connecting external fault diagnosis equipment (DLC).

  • At the end of the test the score is calculated based on the number and cost of the components Requested for replacement, and on the number and cost of components presumed faulty, and a typical technician’s fare for completing the job, taking into consideration the time spent based on the instructor request.
  • The software can also submit a complete report about the trainee based on attendance, progress during trainings, and test scores.
  • The unit is treated against rust and electrostatically painted.
  • The engine condition is refurbished by default, where it has undergone a complete overhaul, replacement of faulty or worn components, and has received a paint job.
  • Alternatively the engine could be supplied in new condition upon special request.
  • The engine may be preassembled with a manual or automatic transmission, and a gear shift stick in the unit.
