The VE-type diesel engine management trainer is designed to allow trainees to study injection system of mechanical injection diesel engines. The trainer features relevant components of a real VE-Type diesel engine vehicle , the trainer is capable of simulating 6 common faults of the same system.

  • Unit design allows the trainee to observe all injection system components clearly .
  • The unit includes all components required for operating diesel engine injection systems mounted on the panel of the trainer such as, fuel reservoir (tank), fuel pump, fuel injectors, fuel filter, dashboard and sensors.
  • The unit includes an electric motor which works to simulate the movement coming from the car engine.
  • The electric motor shaft is connected to the diesel injection pump shaft to supply the fuel from the tank.
  • The above arrangement is surrounded by protective shield made of acrylic to ensure safety during the training.
  • Unit operation module includes ON/OFF switch to operate the system in addition to emergency switch to disconnect the system in case of any emergency during the training.
  • Additionally, ignition switch to simulate starting the engine and a knob to control the motor speed (RPM) are provided on the front panel.
  • Additionally, a dashboard is provided to display the simulated engine RPM
  • The injectors are mounted in transparent tubes in order to provide a better observation experience of the fuel injection process.
  • Provided 4 pressure gauges to measure and display the pressure at each fuel supply line coming from the injection pump.
  • The educational unit includes 4 graduated glass cylinders to simulate the combustion chamber inside the engine cylinders, theses glass cylinders are graduated to measure the fuel amount and transparent to demonstrate the injection process.
  • Each glass cylinder is provided with a shut–off valve at the bottom to allow collecting the leaked fuel into the collecting rail and then return it back to the tank.
  • Fuel tank is supplied with level gauge, also connected to a filter to purify the fuel when it moves from the tank to the pump.
  • The unit is capable of simulating 6 different faults of the system via faults switches on the panel.
  • A schematic diagram of the system operation and components is printed on the unit’s vertical panel for guidance during operation.
  • The trainer is mounted on a robust frame that can be easily relocated.
