The normal & electronic ignition systems trainer tends to demonstrate the operation principle of the ignition systems in gasoline engines. The trainer demonstrates how normal and electronic ignition systems work. It allows measuring parameters of the ignition condition of each system.
The trainer is provided with faults switches and touch screen PC with an interactive software.

  • The trainer demonstrates five different types of ignition systems using real components.
  • The trainer contains three panels. The upper panel shows the electrical circuits of the five ignition systems, in addition to the ignition switch circuit. The middle panel demonstrate the real components of the five ignition systems, in addition to the crank shaft and cam shafts position sensors parts. The lower panel contains power panel, control panel, indicators panel, faults switches and the touch screen PC.
  • The middle panel is divided into six sections: two of them for the normal ignition systems (Distributer A Type and Distributer B Type), three sections for the electronic ignition systems (Distributerless A Type, Distributerless B Type and Distributerless C Type) and the last section is for the crank shaft and cam shafts position sensors parts.
  • The section Distributer A Type contains spark plugs, ignition coil, distributor, battery terminals, battery indication LED, ignition coil terminals, distributor terminals and ground terminal for spark plugs.
  • The section Distributer B Type contains spark plugs, ignition coil, distributor, battery terminals, battery indication LED, ignition coil terminals, distributor terminals and ground terminal for spark plugs.
  • The section Distributerless A Type contains spark plugs, ignition coil, battery terminals, battery indication LED, Ignition coil terminals, ECU terminals, ground terminal of spark plugs and Pick up cable to measure secondary voltage in ignition coil.
  • The section Distributerless B Type contains spark plugs, ignition coil 1, ignition coil 2, battery terminals, battery indication LED, ignition coil 1 terminals, ignition coil 2 terminals, ECU terminals and ground terminal of spark plugs.
  • The section Distributerless C Type contains spark plugs, ignition coil 1, ignition coil 2, battery terminals, battery indication LED, ignition coil 1 terminals, ignition coil 2 terminals, ECU terminals, transistor 1 terminals, transistor 2 terminals and ground terminal of spark plugs.
  • The section Crank and Camshaft Position Sensor Parts contains manual throttle body, electronic throttle body, camshaft sensor gear, camshaft sensor, crank sensor gear, crank sensor 1, crank sensor 2, camshaft sensor terminals, crank sensor 1 terminals, crank sensor 2 terminals and Pick up cable to measure secondary voltage in ignition coil.
  • The power panel at the lower panel contains the ignition switch, system select seitch to select which system from the five system is going to operate, throttle mode switch to select which ine of the throttle bodies is going to operate in section of Crank and Camshaft Position Sensor Parts, the trainer ON/OFF operation switch and the emergency switch.
  • The control panel contains throttle valve knob to control the engine speed, battery voltage control knob, dwell duration control knob, engine speed digital display, battery digital dispaly and dwell duration indication LEDs.
  • The indicators panels contains indication LEDs of operation of: Distributor A type, Distributor B type, Distributorless A type, Distributorless B type and Distributorless C type
  • The indicators panel also contains digital displays of: secondary voltage of Distributor A type, primary voltage of Distributor A type, secondary voltage of Distributor B type, primary voltage of Distributor B type, secondary voltage of Distributorless A type, secondary voltage of Distributorless B type, secondary voltage of Distributorless C type and ignition angle (before the Top dead center).
  • The trainer is also provided with seven fault switches to simulate the most common faults in ignition systems.
  • The trainer is supplied with measuring points 4 mm to perform connection, measurement and testing processes.
  • Each component has its labeled name and its terminals.
  • The labeled names of the components and the schematic diagrams are printed to the trainer using the ultra violet technology.
  • The interactive software is used to demonstrate the ignition systems signals during operating any of them.
  • The trainer is electrostatically painted and treated against rust.
  • The trainer is provided with four casters for mobility.
