The alternator trainer enhances the trainees understanding of the operation of an alternator, and also build up great knowledge about the internal construction of it.
- The model is built on a robust frame which can be easily relocated.
- The unit is divided into 2 sections, one is a cutaway and the other is operational.
- The cutaway section showcases an exploded view of a real alternator, which enhances the observer›s understanding of the construction of the alternator.
- The operational section features an alternator attached to an electric motor to simulate rotational input that would have come from the engine.
- The electric motor speed can be controlled by a knob fitted in the front panel of the model.
- Digital display for the motor speed and the output voltage from the alternator.
- The alternator and the electric motor are surrounded by a transparent protective cover that allows the trainee to observe clearly the experiments in a safely way.
- Unit allows connecting an external multi-meter.
- The unit is fixed on four caster wheels to eases its motion inside the laboratory, these caster wheels are equipped with brakes to prevent the trainer from sliding during the operation.
