This educational unit features all essential systems that make up a Front-Wheel-Drive (FWD) passenger vehicle excluding the body and electric circuitry, where almost all systems are mounted on a custom made chassis which is in turn mounted on a robust frame. Additionally all the systems included within the vehicle such as the engine, transmission, drive train, steering, suspension, brakes, fuel delivery and cooling include sections in them to view their internal construction and components by color contrast.
- A FWD passenger vehicle with its body and interior excluded is mounted by its chassis on a robust frame to ease relocation.
- The unit contains all the essential systems that make up this sort of ground vehicle such as the engine, transmission, drive train, steering, suspension, brakes, fuel delivery and cooling.
- The chassis that binds the essential systems is a custom fabricated.
- The whole vehicle suspension is based on coil springs.
- All the systems have sections in them with color contrast between cross-sections and components.
- Some systems may include white LEDs to illuminate their insides. That in addition to the color contrast allows observing the systems, their construction, components, and operation from the vehicle perimeter.
- Attached to the engine is an electric motor to simulate as if the vehicle is operational and drive dependent systems.
- The transmission included with in the vehicle may be either manual or automatic.
- The unit is fixed on four caster wheels to eases its motion inside the laboratory, these caster wheels are equipped with brakes to prevent the trainer from sliding during the operation.
- The unit is treated against rust and electrostatically painted.
