The ignition systems training kit (AUT101) provides trainees with the fundamental knowledge of ignition. The training kit offers trainees two types of experiments local and remote. The local experiments allow trainees can test and examine the basic concepts directly through the kit while the remote experiments enable trainees to display and control the experiment through the provided software system.
- The ignition system training kit provides trainees with the basic fundamentals and principles of automotive ignition systems.
- The training kit introduces trainees to the conventional ignition circuit, transistorized or semi electronic ignition circuit as well distribute-less ignition circuits.
- Student will be trained using this kit to set up ignition angle and control different parameters using knobs or through a provided software.
- The system is supplied with a number of indication LEDs to indicate the operation of the components of the kit.
- Besides the theoretical knowledge, trainees will be able to carry out a number of different experiments.
- Trainees will get acquainted with different components in the system such as hall effect sensor and inductive cam sensor.
- Two modes are introduced for performing the experiment. Local mode which can be operated directly from the kit and remote mode which can be operated through an external PC. An external PC can be easily connected through the USB port.
- The system is provided with software system to perform the experiments in the remote mode and display your results.
- Trainees will also be able to get familiar with the graphical representation and electrical symbols of different components as all of the circuits are printed on the training kit.
- The training system allows trainees to perform different connections and use the oscilloscope to measure signals.
- The training kit is supplied with an emergency switch as a safety measure to protect the system against any mis-convenience.
