The three-phase alternator/generator kit (aut102) provides trainees the basics of three-phase current diode and rectifier circuits as well as the functionality of an unregulated three-phase alternator/generator. The kit provides trainees the needed fault diagnosis compliance with accident prevention regulations.

  • The three-phase alternator/ generator kit provides trainees with the basic knowledge of three-phase current diodes and rectifier circuits.
  • Trainees will familiarize and grasp the main principle and the function of a typical alternator system.
  • The system interprets the various aspects of how on-board vehicle networks are supplied with electrical power at an authentic practical level
  • Trainees will get acquainted with a number of different components of a typical alternator/generator system including battery, rectifiers, diodes and alternator.
  • Besides the theoretical knowledge, trainees will be able to carry out a number of different experiments.
  • Two modes are introduced for performing the experiment. Local mode which can be operated directly from the kit and remote mode which can be operated through an external PC. An external PC can be easily connected through the USB port.
  • The system is provided with software system to perform the experiments in the remote mode and display your results.
  • The training system is supplied with a fault insertion system where trainees can introduce up to seven faults to the system locally or remotely to test different malfunctions in the system.
  • Trainees will also be able to get familiar with the graphical representation of different components as all of the circuits are printed on the training kit.
  • The training kit allows students to understand and use schematic diagrams of half and full wave rectifiers.
  • The training system allows trainees to perform different connections and use the oscilloscope to measure signals.
  • The training kit is supplied with an emergency switch as a safety measure to protect the system against any mis-convenience.
