The trainer (DPT106) is based on a real continuous variable transmission (CVT) to be attached to the multi-function test stand. CVT transmission components are supplied in a storage unit enough to carry the complete range of its parts. The training system is designed to enhance the assembly and disassembly skills of a CVT transmission system which in turn develops the skills of maintaining and troubleshooting the same system.

  • The system is based mainly on a storage unit (drawers’ unit) used to accommodate disassembled components of CVT transmission during and after the training.
  • CVT transmission case is designed to be attached to the multi-function test stand (not supplied with the system) using a holding mechanism.
  • CVT transmission body is attached to the multi-function test stand by means of a robust steel shaft capable of carrying the CVT transmission weight.
  • The trainer allows trainees to study and investigate the complete range of components and parts of the CVT transmission, including but not limited to: case rear cover, CVT belt, oil Level indicator dip gauge, CVT oil filter and so on. 
  • Each drawer in the storage unit is filled with hard foam with adequate compartment for each disassembled component, to ensure all system components are kept in their right places ready for the next training.
  • Each part inside the storage unit is numbered & labeled to provide better organization of the system components in order to perform a successful assembly and disassembly exercise.
  • CVT transmission body can be rotated 360° clockwise or anti-clockwise thanks to the electric motor provided with the multi-function test stand.
  • Using the rotating feature of the multi-function test stand; user will be able to maintain the required angle of rotation at a certain moment to facilitate the assembly and disassembly process.
  • Systems components can be kept during the training thanks to the provided oil pan in the multi-function test stand which is able to collect any drained oil or falling off components for example bolts, nuts & etc.
  • Starting the motor or changing its direction of rotation can be done using push buttons on the operation unit of the multi-function test stand.
  • Storage unit is equipped with caster wheels underneath to ease moving it inside the workshop, in addition to the wheels braking mechanism that prevent it from sliding during operation.
  • The drawers are equipped with high quality telescopic sliders for smooth and fast movement.
  • The unit's drawers are equipped with handles to facilitate opening and closing the drawers.
  • Drawers are equipped with a braking mechanism that prevents the drawer from being pulled out too much or falling down.
  • The drawers unit is equipped with a safety key to keep components and ensure that drawers are opened only under the supervision of the instructor.
