This refrigerator training system allows trainees to get familiar with the most common faults that may occur in domestic refrigerator. Using real world components, trainees will get familiar with troubleshooting, maintenance and repairing of such systems. The training system is easy to use making it easy for students to grasp the structure of a typical refrigerator and malfunctions concerned with each component. The unit also includes terminals to test the system as different faults happen.

  • This training system comprises of a refrigerator unit and a bench-top training unit which contains all of the needed components to perform experiments.
  • This system is for experimental purposes allowing trainees to acquire hands on skills in, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairing.
  • The components used in this training system are real-world components making it better for vocational students or trainees to understand the domestic refrigerator structure and the related malfunctions to it.
  • The benchtop training unit is easy to move throughout the lab and can be connected to the refrigerator easily through an available cable port.
  • The training unit is provided with a sliding door in order to protect the components needed to carry out the experiments.
  • The training system is supplied with up to 14 fault switches that can be activated manually as well as 7 isolation manual switches.
  • All of the system signals can be read through provided terminals. Using an Avometer (Not Included), which can be connected to those terminals, trainees will be able to read voltage, or resistance readings and inspect the malfunction of each component.
  • Each component is supplied with indication LED to state the operation or the malfunction in these components.
  • The training system is supplied with three temperature displays which are freezer, refrigerator and defrost heater temperature. Based on these readings, trainees can investigate the occurring faults.
  • Trainees will be able to activate faults on various refrigerator components such as fan, compressor, door switch, defrost heater,….etc.
