Electric vehicle power distribution unit Training system demonstrates power distribution unit and high voltage principles. The training assists the trainee in identifying a high-voltage power supply, which distributes battery power to the vehicle’s high-voltage components via the central control box, such as the motor controller unit, accessory motor controller, and a high-voltage DC/DC. The inside construction of the high voltage distribution box can be clearly observed by the PDU training system. The educational simulator is composed of two parts: a power distribution unit and an operation and control panel
- The trainer illustrates the working principle of Power distribution unit designed for EV.
- Power distribution unit known as "electric vehicle high voltage power distribution box", "Electric vehicle power unit" and "Electric vehicle safety box".
- The trainer demonstrates the power distribution to every systematic unit, such as motor control unit, battery management system, charging system, DC to DC system, air condition system, electric steering auxiliary system and brake system.
- PDU system can also provide short circuit protection, current leaking protection and IP protection.
- Inform the learner about the system. With this unit, the battery life is greater and the EV maintenance costs are lower (Easy maintenance, convenient installation, space saving and reliable electric connection).
- The trainer mainly consists of high-voltage distribution box assembly, connected to the DC charging interface and the AC charging interface.
- The charging operation can be used to charge the whole set of training equipment.
- The trainer can clearly observe the internal structure of high voltage distribution box.
- The trainer is supplied with a training test panel, which can monitor the working signals of all sensors in the high voltage distribution box in real time.
- The unit includes all systems required for HV distribution box operation such as:
- High voltage distribution box
- Holzer sensor
- DC charging seat
- AC charging seat
- Test panel
- Each component represented in the above modules is provided with dedicated safety sockets internally connected to the real component to allow connecting external measuring devices for examination.
- The educational unit is provided with a schematic diagram of the high voltage distribution box showing the internal parts.
- The trainer is mounted on four heavy duty caster wheels able to carry the system weight for better mobility.
- Caster wheels are equipped with foot operated brakes to lock the wheels and help fix the unit and prevent sliding.
