  • Flow Meter Trainer (FM - 027)
  • Hard copy user manual

The flow meter trainer (FM-027) tends to demonstrate different types of flow meters used in flow measurements. The trainer also allows trainees to compare different types of flow meters and their operation of principles.

  • The trainer is used to examine different flow meters operation principles.
  • The flow meters are supplied with the trainer as accessories.
  • Using the trainer, the Pressure loss curves and accuracies of different flow meters can be compared to determine which flow meter is suitable for which area of application.
  • The trainer includes a water cycle consisting of a water tank, a pump and a valve to adjust the flow rate, in addition to two measuring positions for vertical or horizontal installation of the flow meters under test.
  • The trainer includes a high-precision electromagnetic flow rate sensor that is used as a reference for calibrating the flow meters.
  • The trainer is equipped with two double pressure manometers and a differential pressure sensor to be able to determine the pressure losses of the various flow meters.
  • The trainer is provided with an operation panel that includes main ON/OFF switch, emergency switch, pump operation switch, digital display of differential pressure (mbar) and digital display of flow rate (liter per minute).
  • The trainer is supplied with hoses to the flow meters modules to the manometer’s tubes.
  • The flow meter modules supplied with the trainer are Orifice plate flow meter, Orifice flow meter with transducer, Pitot tube, Venturi tube, Vortex flow meter with digital display and Measuring nozzle.
  • A DC voltage source ensures the power supply to the flow meters.
