Heat Conduction of metals with Computer Controlled training system (HT – 001) tends to facilitate the students to apply basic experiments based on heat conduction through various metals. The unit is equipped with eleven samples made of different metals, to investigate the thermal conductivity of various metals and compare between them.

  • The unit has been designed based on the topic of heat conduction through various metals.
  • The upper region of the sample is heated by an electrical heater and the lower section cooled by a Peltier element.
  • Heat conduction occurs through the respective sample from top to bottom.
  • The samples are provided with insulating cover to prevent heat losses and to demonstrate the concept in accurate manner
  • The unit is equipped with eleven samples made of different metals, to investigate the thermal conductivity of various metals and compare between them.
  • Perfectly matched components ensure rapid heating and accurate measurements.
  • The heater can be continuously adjusted to control heat transfer of elements.
  • The temperature of the metal samples is taken on the top and bottom by means of thermocouples.
  • The unit is connected to the PC via USB.
  • The software displays temperatures and power consumption.
