Air Temperature Control Loop is designed to measure and control the temperature of a process.
One well-known example of closed-loop control of systems with long time constants in a variety of applications is temperature control. Air flow can be observed as an additional control variable in addition to pure temperature control.
- The training unit design allows the trainee to observe all system components.
- The training system includes
- Air temperature control Module
- Universal controller
- The trainer′s USB port allows it to be connected to a computer.
- The air temperature control module is equipped with:
- Temperature control loop using a low-mass heating element
- Power controlling heating element
- 3X temperature sensors at various distances
- Controlled air-flow via a variable speed fan
- Transparent air duct
- The Universal controller
- PC connection via USB port
- PC software for parameter setting and visualization of controller signals using the following virtual instruments:
- Two-position controller
- Three-position controller
- PID controller
- Cascade controller
