Temperature & pressure measurements system is designed to introduce the trainees to the most common types of pressure gauges and temperature sensors used in industrial applications . Also, it allow steam to study their principle of operation and the most suitable applications for each type. In addition ,trainees will enhance their skills in taking the readings through a wide range of laboratory experiments.

                                     
  • The system consists of a stand-alone training unit in addition to an accessories kit included in the unit drawer.
  • The educational unit features various types of temperature and pressure measurement devices.
  • Pressure measurement devices included are:
    • Dry pressure gauge
    • Liquids filled pressure gauge
    • Vacuum pressure gauge
    • Bourdon Tube
  • The latter is used to observe the operating mechanism & internal construction of the pressure gauge.
  • The system is equipped with necessary components needed to perform pressure measurements experiments such as: 
    • Air compressor
    • Vacuum pump with its lubricant
    • Filter-regulator unit
  • Air compressor used to supply air to the dry and glycerin type pressure gauges.
  • Vacuum pump used to create vacuum needed for the vacuum type pressure gouge.
  • Filter-regulator unit is used to control the air pressure and suction.
  • Temperature measurements sensors included are:
    • Pt100 rtd sensor
    • Pt1000 rtd sensor
    • Two types of thermocouple
  • The system is equipped with necessary tools needed to perform temperature measurements experiments such as:
    • Heater & beaker
    • 3 Temperature digital displays
  • One digital display is used to display temperature of both pt100 & pt1000 sensors in Celsius (c°).
  • The other digital display is used to display the temperature of the first thermocouple in Celsius (c°).
  • The last digital display is used to display the temperature of the second thermocouple in millivolt.
  • The heater provided is equipped with a magnetic stirrer to ensure a homogeneous temperature distribution through the water molecules inside the water beaker.
  • The heater is equipped with a knob to set the temperature, and another knob for setting stirring speed, in addition to a digital display to display the temperature and the stirring rate.
  • The educational unit operation module contains on/off switch, air compressor switch, vacuum pump switch, and heater switch in addition to operation switches for each temperature measuring device (rtd sensors and thermocouples).
  • Emergency switch is used to disconnect the unit in any emergency.
  • A schematic diagram of the pressure gauge is printed on the front panel showing its components.
  • The accessory kit includes the group of system components which are not fixed on the front panel such as:
    • Pt100 & pt1000
    • Heater
    • Oil for vacuum pump
    • Beaker
