The machinery diagnostic training system (MV105) is an educational unit used to simulate certain types of damage and investigate its effects on the vibration spectrum of the machine. The Base Unit for the trainer is designed to be the main unit for performing a wide range of diagnosing machines using sets of modular accessories.

  • The trainer provides understating the machines faults and the main working principles to avoid serious damage to machines and to carry out maintenance on time.
  • The trainer is designed for the investigation of the type and size of the machine vibrations and their effect on the rotating machinery system.
  • the trainers is provided with transparent protective cover to protect the user.
  • The base unit allows various experiments for vibration measuring including measurement of vibration displacement, velocity and acceleration in the time/frequency range.
  • It also allows practicing the field balancing of rigid rotors and alignment of shafts.
  • The unit consists mainly of three parts, the mechanical part, monitoring system and diagnostic software.
  • The base unit includes mainly the mechanical elements such as: clutch, bearing blocks, shaft with rotors and a rigid base plate.
  • The large aluminum base plate contains locating slots which allows quick, flexible and precise assembly of the system components
