This trainer (PL101) is a simulation for the waste water treatment plant. The trainer illustrates the aerobic treatment stages that domestic waste water goes through to be treated and adjust its properties to the standard values.
- This educational unit demonstrates domestic waste water treatment using activated sludge.
- A stainless-steel waste water tank is installed supplied with level sensor and two stirring machines. A drain valve is fitted to the tank to discharge water.
- Two chemical tanks for the acidic and alkaline chemicals are included to adjust PH of waste water.
- An aeration tank made out of clear acrylic material for better observation is installed, the tank is equipped with three stirring machines, copper heating coil and copper aeration pipes which is connected to a compressor.
- An acrylic sedimentation tank is included in this cycle supplied with a stirring machine.
- A stainless-steel heating tank is installed supplied with a mounted heater, level sensor, temperature sensor and a stirring machine
- A stainless-steel tank for treated water is attached to the trainer equipped with a drain to discharge treated water.
- Sensors are included in the educational unit to measure different water properties (Flow, Ph value, O2 concentration and temperature)
- Two recirculation cycles are installed in this unit: An internal recirculation cycle which recycles water from the aeration tank outlet to the aeration tank inlet and A recirculation cycle from the sedimentation tank to the aeration tank.
- The trainer is provided with a software to display measurement and control the process.
- The process can be also controlled through mounted switches on the unit panel.
