The hydro-electric power training system enables trainees to investigate on hydropower plants conversion of the potential or gravitational energy of water first into mechanical and then electrical energy. The educational unit consists of hydroelectric power plant and table top control panel real-life components. The educational trainer is supplied with software system for calculations and display of parameters.

                                     
  • Main Frame Code: (RE-010.1)
    • The training system comprises a main frame panel where all of the provided modules can be mounted to it.
    • The frame is designed in the form of modular system which allows trainees to alter the experiment conditions upon changing the used modules. The frame consists of three horizontal rows for mounting modules.
    • The main frame is a single-phase power supply unit with neutral and line paths needed for the power supplying and connection with the experimental modules
    • Up to 9 modules can be mounted at the same time which gives students the opportunity to execute more complex and sophisticated experiments.
    • The frame is supplied with a wooden bench where students can put any needed tool or measuring device for an easy access.
    • The frame is equipped with external cable holders to hang the training system cables.
    • The frame is equipped with fixed holder the computer CPU and another moveable holder for the computer screen.
    • The frame is electrostatically painted and assembled using special accessories to provide more durability and prevent corrosion.
    • The main frame is supplied with ON/OFF switch, emergency button, circuit breaker and two extra power sockets required for the connection of any external devices.
    • It also includes two meters for measuring flow and pressure, pump control unit to control pump operation and speed and plugs which connect the hydropower emulator with the trainer.

    • The system is supplied with software where all of the measured values can be displayed and monitored. All of the modules can also be controlled through the software system.
    • Through the supplied software, trainees will be also able to plot all of the related curves such as V&I curves.
