Advanced industrial maintenance trainer allows trainees to acquire hands-on skills in field of industrial maintenance through very precise, integral and progressive training system. The trainer is based on one main system and two extensions supplementary systems The trainer aims at forming a good base for technical knowledge as well as enhancing practical skills such as, installation, repair, wire color coding, electrical control system wiring and electrical panel wiring. The PLC Wiring & VFD Wiring Kit and HMI Wiring Kit are designed for studying various aspects of industrial electrical installations and maintenance. The trainees will study more cover topics such as PLC installation, power wiring for PLCs, testing PLC operations, exploring PLC applications, installing VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives), testing and operating VFDs, performing VFD wiring, setting up VFD/PLC Modbus communication, wiring HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), installing HMI panels, interfacing with HMI panels, configuring ethernet wiring, installing ethernet switches, constructing Cat 5 ethernet cables, and handling analog wiring. These kits provide hands-on experience with electrical components commonly used in industrial settings, facilitating learning and skill development in maintenance and installation procedures.

Main Unit

  • The trainer allows trainees to study and practice electrical wiring skills such as performing control circuits wiring in an electrical panel, pressure switches, performing wiring into limit switches, solenoids, and understanding the importance of correct wire size, material, and insulation
  • The educational unit contains real components such as a 3-phase motor, switches, pushbuttons, valves, and a 24VDC power supply. All these components are stored in a storage box with the trainer.
  • Using these components, trainees are able to study electrical control system wiring, pneumatic control circuit wiring, conductors, disconnects, and overcurrent protection.
  • He storage box of the trainer is equipped with heavy-duty industrial components, including a 3-phase, 1/3 HP motor, disconnect switch, side rotary limit switch, manual shut-off valve, emergency stop button, push-to-test buttons, and other essential elements for industrial applications.
  • The heavy-duty industrial components allow trainees to gain hands-on skills like installing a terminal block in an electrical panel, splice motor leads using ring lug connectors, bundle wires in an electrical panel, manually operate an electro-pneumatic valve, and select circuit protection for an application.
  • The trainer is provided with a software that covers the topics of the three trainers to represent integral industrial control interactive multimedia.
  • The interactive software provides information and exercises on the function, operation, installation, and construction of electrical wiring and wiring components
  • The software also demonstrates function of electrical prints, how to select a terminal block for an application, methods used to identify wires that are run between panels, methods to connect wires to terminal screws, the common line and component symbols used in pneumatic schematic diagrams, and common types of disconnects.
  • The software encompasses a range of topics, including HMI panel installation, wiring and interfacing, testing procedures, Ethernet wiring and switch installation, as well as analog wiring and interfacing.
  • This software is designed in an interactive multimedia format, incorporating 3D animations, graphics, and additional engaging elements.

PLC & VFD Wiring Kit

  • The kit allows trainees to study and perform control wiring circuits in an electrical panel; wiring circuits for limit switches, solenoids, and pressure switches and understand the importance of correct wire size, material, and insulation.
  • The kit components should be mounted to the main unit to supply power to the components and perform connections and experiments.
  • The kit is provided with real components like a Siemens S7-1200 PLC, Allen-Bradley variable frequency drive unit, 3-phase motor, pushbuttons, switches, valves, and a 24VDC power supply all mounted on the main front panel.
  • Using these components, trainees can study electrical control system wiring, pneumatic control circuit wiring, conductors, disconnects, and overcurrent protection.
  • The trainer is also supplied with heavy-duty industrial components such as a 3-phase motor, pushbuttons, switches, valves, and a 24VDC power supply stored in a storage box with the trainer.
  • The heavy-duty industrial components allow trainees to gain hands-on skills like installing a terminal block in an electrical panel; splice motor leads using ring lug connectors; bundle wires in an electrical panel; manually operate an electro-pneumatic valve; and select circuit protection for an application.

HMI Wiring Kit

  • The kit introduces trainees to the installation, operation, and wiring of Human Machine Interface (HMI) panels, Ethernet switches, and analog inputs.
  • The kit components should be mounted to the main unit to supply power to the components and perform connections and experiments.
  • The kit is provided with a wide range of components like Siemens HMI panel, Ethernet switch and cable, analog transmitter unit, a thermocouple, a conduit set, and a cooling fan
  • These components allow trainees to figure out how to interface and test an HMI panel and PLC via Ethernet, how to install and test an Ethernet switch, HMI panel ground and power circuits, and how to interface a transmitter to an analog input and test its operation and a Cat 5 Ethernet cable and practice skills like interfacing a thermocouple to a transmitter.
