Temperature & pressure measurements system is designed to introduce the trainees to the most common types of pressure gauges and temperature sensors used in industrial applications . Also,it allows them to study their principle of operation and the most suitable applications for each type. In addition ,trainees will enhance their skills in taking the readings through a wide range of laboratory experiments.

  • The system consists of a stand-alone training unit in addition to an accessories kit included in the unit drawer.
  • The educational unit features various types of temperature and pressure measurement devices.
  • Pressure measurement devices included are:
    • Dry pressure gauge
    • Liquid-filled pressure gauge
    • Vacuum pressure gauge
    • Bourdon Tube
  • The latter is used to observe the operating mechanism & internal construction of the pressure gauge.
  • The system is equipped with necessary components needed to perform pressure measurements experiments such as:
    • Air compressor
    • Vacuum pump with its lubricant
    • Filter-regulator unit
  • Air compressor used to supply air to the dry and glycerin type pressure guages.
  • Vacuum pump used to create vacuum needed for the vacuum type pressure gauge.
  • Filter-regulator unit is used to control the air pressure and suction.

  • The system is equipped with necessary tools needed to perform temperature measurements experiments such as:

  • One digital display is used to display temperature of both PT100 sensor in celsius (°C).
  • The other digital display is used to display the temperature of the thermocouple in celsius (°C).
  • The last digital display is used to display the temperature of the NTC temperature sensor in (°C).
  • The trainer also include a digital display which used to display the temperature of the thermocouple in millivolt.
  • The heater provided is equipped with a magnetic stirrer to ensure a homogeneuous temperature distribution through the water molecules inside the water beaker.
  • The heater is equipped with a knob to set the temperature, and another knob for setting stirring speed, in addition to a digital display to display the temperate of the PT1000 and the stirring rate.
  • The educational unit operation module contains on/off switch, air compressor switch, vacuum pump switch.
  • Emergency switch is used to disconnect the unit in any emergency.
