1KW DC Drives kit are used to control all aspects of the electrical machines. The trainer introduces trainees to electrical drives to allow studying their operation and applications. The trainer adopts the modular design to install electrical machines modules to a sturdy metal frame to allow trainees to connect modules to each other using safety cables. The trainer is supplied with a software to measure the machines parameters and display the measured values.

                                     
  • The 1KW DC Drives kit facilitates building a true-to-life learning environment that mirrors real-life work of study and industry relevant skills including how to operate, install and tune major types of DC systems.
  • Many applications can be explained through this trainer such as control of speed acceleration ramp time and deceleration ramp time, difference between tacho-generator feedback and armature voltage feedback in various applications 
  • As well as the drive can compensate the torque through IR potentiometer.
  • The trainer allows trainees to operate, control and test the drivers.
  • The 1KW DC Drives kit can work with the 1KW Machines (not inculded) easily, also it`s designed as modular that can fit perfectly on the Machine & Drive Lab Supply Unit (not inculded), the kit contain many modules that can be used together to execute different experiments
